THE CAT WHO THOUGHT HE WAS A RABBIT

Chris contacted me after her skittish cat Bruiser had run out an open door, then turned around and tried to come back but got scared and ran away again. After five days Chris worried that Bruiser, who had never been out on his own before, would be starving but too afraid to come forward.

When I communicated with Bruiser, he showed me something interesting. He had met some rabbits and now thought of himself as one of them. Bruiser thought the rabbits were keeping him safe from harm and he was hanging out with them in the woods behind their home.

After several days of looking, Chris spotted Bruiser sitting next to a rabbit in the woods. When Chris approached a funny thing happened, Bruiser looked at Chris and both he and the rabbit hopped away. Chris commented later that it was as if Bruiser believed he was a rabbit too and was mimicking the rabbit's behavior. Chris set out a trap with some food near the location Bruiser and the rabbit had been sighted. Within 20 minutes, Bruiser was caught and brought safely home.

Chris of New Jersey writes:

"Bruiser was really hungry like he had not eaten in a long time. I imagine the food that rabbits eat is not filling to a cat's stomach. Usually cats will eat rabbits, but in this case, they became friends."

WENDELL DISAPPEARED WHEN THE MOVING VAN ARRIVED

Some cats are attached to their homes and daily routes that they loathe the idea of leaving.

Wendell disappeared the day the moving van arrived in their driveway. Six months later Kari still worried about Wendell and how he would was fending for himself. Even though Kari lived a five hour drive away from her former home, Kari solicited my help.

When I contacted Wendell told me he often sat on top of a garage about two blocks from Kari's old home. He liked to watch a man who was about thirty years old play with toy remote-controlled cars in the driveway of his well-manicured, beige home. Wendell was fascinated by the fast zigzag movement of the cars. It reminded him of how mice moved back and forth. It was like kitty TV. Conveniently, there was a dish of what seemed like never ending cat food in the garage below his hideout, so Wendell felt like he had it good.

Kari sent her real estate agent Kim in search of Wendell. After interviewing a few people in Kari's former neighborhood, Kim was able to locate the man who ran remote-controlled cars in his driveway and the garage across the street where a lady left food out for her own cat.

To make a long story short, the real estate agent was able to trap Wendell, sedate him and put him on a plane for a joyful reunion with Kari.

FIND OUT WHY THIS CAT WAS TOO BUSY PROTECTING HIS OWNERS FROM MICE TO HEED THEIR CALLS

It was a Sunday and Becky and Linda were about to leave their vacation cabin. The car was all packed and ready to go, but then Becky noticed that Monzili was nowhere to be found. Worse yet, it was raining and the woody grounds around them were soaked. Becky's friend took off to the local drugstore to get supplies for making lost cat posters and Becky called me.

When I contacted Mozili he showed me that he was puffed up and proud to be protecting Becky from the mice right under the floor of her home. Yes, Mozili had heard Becky call, but he felt that he was the "man of the house" and it was his very important job to protect Becky from the mice. He was determined that the mice must be terminated.

As night fell there was still no sign of Monzili. Linda decided to stay behind and wait Monzili out. Becky had to be back at work. As Becky got in the car, Monzili emerged from under the house as dry as a bone and puffed up like a mighty lion.
