DOG STOPS PEEING AND MARKING AROUND HOUSE
Nancy G. contacted me because her Papillon dog Bo had started to pee and mark around her house. He had the annoying habit of peeing on her furniture and even her pillows. Nancy was at her wits end and told me that she did not know what to do, but, she knew that she could not put up with the peeing any longer.
When I communicated with Bo, he showed me that he thought of himself as the "little man" around Nancy's home and he was marking the house as his to protect Nancy from danger.
I gave Nancy a few things to do to show Bo that he did not need to protect her. Nancy called me back later to report that the marking behavior has stopped and, thankfully, Bo had resumed only peeing outside her house once more.
