Laura of La Mesa, California contacted me because her cat Charlie Brown had been hiding under her deck for three days. Laura and her family had been trying to coax Charlie Brown out, to no avail. Then, the next time Laura came out to check on Charlie Brown, he could no longer be seen under her deck. Laura decided she needed more help and called me.

I communicated with Charlie and figured out he was hiding near the canoe on Laura's property in an area that Laura would not be able to reach. I made some suggestions to Laura about how to coax Charlie out. He came home at 3 am that morning and crawled on Laura's chest while she was in bed.
