What Happens During an
Animal Communications
Consultation?
General
This is your
opportunity to have questions answered about problems and concerns
you are having with your animal friend. You can find out what they
do and don't like, what they do and don't understand and how you
can create more cooperation and a fully enjoyable relationship with
your animal friend.
Most sessions are conducted by phone. It is
not necessary for me to be physically present to communicate with
your pet.
Each consultation is broken up into three parts. Part
one is done by phone and takes about 15 to 20 minutes. During this stage
I interview you to find out what questions and issues you would like me
to discuss with your animal friend. It is helpful if you develop a list
of questions prior to the interview and make each question as concise
and straight forward as possible.
Part 2 of the consultation is communication with your
animal. I intuitively ask your pet questions that you have developed and
write down their responses. This takes about 1 hour.
The last part of the consultation is done by phone
and takes about 15 to 30 minutes for general consultations and about 10
minutes for lost animal consultations. I relay back to you what your animal
companion has shared. I often make suggestions to help you find create
workable solutions to problems between you and your pet. For example,
if your cat tells me she is unhappy and stressed out from being inside
all day, I may make suggestions to change her environment more stimulating
based upon the needs she has shared with me. I have found that each animal
is different and may require different surroundings to make them happy.
My goal is to help the both of you create more satisfying life together.
Preparing for a Consultation
After you have made an appointment, write down
a list of questions or issues you would like for me to discuss with
your animal friend. The more specific your questions are, the more
concise and helpful your animal companion's answers can be to
you.
Setting Up an Appointment
Appointments are made in advance either by
email or by phone. For new clients I require payment in advance.
You can pay by Mastercard or Visa using the PayPal system found on
my Set-up an Appointment page or you can send a check by
mail.
It is helpful, but not necessary, for me to
have a picture of your pet to refer to during my consultation. If
there is more than one animal in your home a picture can help me
tune in to the right pet.

Lost Animal Appointments
If you need help locating a lost animal, it is
helpful if you can provide a recent picture of your pet and provide
a hand drawn map of your neighborhood or where your animal friend
was last seen. On the map, show your home and which door your pet
usually enters and exits from to go outside. Also show any hills
or landmarks your pet might be familiar with (such as houses where
a neighbor who feeds him lives, homes where other pets in your
neighborhood live or busy streets). This map does not need to be
perfect or to scale. What I am looking for is a general idea of
the neighborhood in which you and your animal live.
